'A'ali'i grows abundantly in Puna and Ka'u, high up on the volcano, and can withstand the strongest winds and gales. This was the first collection of Ola Hou and represents my daughter. She is my light, hope, strength, beauty, and my life. This name represents being bold, strong, and being able to conquer anything through trial and tribulations.
